I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-CA) and a licensed independently certified social worker (LICSW-MA) with over 17 years of clinical psychotherapy experience. Since graduating from the Smith College School for Social Work in 1999, I have worked as a psychotherapist, supervisor, consultant, and educator. I began my career working in the community out-patient mental health clinic setting for several years before beginning my private practice in 2002. I have enjoyed serving as an adjunct faculty to the Smith College School for Social Work and also facilitating continuing education seminars for thier professional development program (CEU's). As a supervisor I enjoy helping colleagues--both new professionals and seasoned advanced practitioners--hone and deepen thier clinical knowledge and skills.
My private practice is located in Carmel CA, serving the greater Monterey Pennisula Bay area. I provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy. I work with adults, adolescents (including pre-teens), and families. I currently have limited availablity for my work with children aged 6-11. While I have several "specialty" areas of training and focus, I consider myself a generalist, providing psychotherapeutic services to address many life problems, mental health disorders, and interpersonal issues. In addition, I am available for clinical supervision, consultation, and have several training seminars that are available for presentation.
